I personally think, if the original Angels of Death is an example of a story being the "good kind of edgy", having some intense moments that only made me love the characters more and added to my enjoyment of the story, this is certainly an example of the "bad" kind of edge.
The pixel graphic art style is good as I said with these old school pixel art games it can show that graphics aren't really important, but like I said the graphics are good probably even better than the first game, I particularly like its uses of colors, design and scenery especially the scenery for the final part of the game.
