Small Saga

The world has charm, wit, humor, and vibrant artwork for the characters and setting.

The only other negatives I could list are made up for by the stellar story, no-filler gameplay, and sheer authenticity and charm.

So I don't feel like I can fault the game for rewarding me with being very effective in combat.

Accompanied by a stirring soundtrack that alternates between gentle folk melodies and sweeping battle themes, the presentation creates a tone that feels both nostalgic and cinematic.

It is also because of the mature themes that this indie explores here as, whilst it is by and large a colourful and endearing world from looking at the graphics alone, Small Saga tackles some sensitive topics that may come as rather unexpected for a title like this game here.

The 4 playable characters are very distinct from each other mechanically and compliment each other well and the actual fundamentals of the combat are very solid.
