In 2026, it simply does not do anything from a gameplay perspective to make it worth your time.
The graphics are nice, and the soundtrack is quite good (arguably the best part of Quartet), with a wide range of song types.
the art is amazing, the soundtrack is incredibly solid, the combat is fast paced, tactical and fun, the progression is simple but rewarding, but above all, the writing is genuinely a masterclass.
It's among the more rare of the genre, invested in themes and plot and lore in equal measure to characters, whereas most indie productions seem to go too easy on one of those points in favor of another.
