TOEM tells the story of a small, sheep-like creature who dreams of experiencing the “TOEM” (comparable to the Aurora Borealis) once, and sets off on a long journey to make that little dream come true.
The developers knew exactly what they wanted to achieve with this adventure, and the hand-drawn graphics are simply amazing.
It introduces new mechanics that make the gameplay even more interesting and fun.
The story is told with a lot of love, the world is rich in detail and also hides many little secrets, while the OST creates a relaxing background atmosphere.
The puzzles aren't too hard, some take a bit before you have an "ah ha!"
The game fits the Steam Deck perfectly with the use of gyro to aim the camera around, and is how the game intuitively feels like it should be experienced.
