I thought it was an interesting mechanic that one of the ways to generate food in a province is by building a barn and recruiting chicken or cow regiments.

With combat, resources is as important as troops for it you run out of that troops the battle ends but run out of silver and the same shall occur which is an interesting way to try to manage both your troops and taking out your foes. the looks of the game is exceptional given it was made with a small team, despite some bugs here and there, the game itself works somewhat well.

Multiplayer options and the level editor provide additional ways to engage with the underlying mechanics, but the expansive single-player campaign remains the strongest showcase for the combination of conquest, construction, diplomacy, economics, and survival.

Nothing really feels satisfying and the best two aspects of the game are the voice acting and the large map.
