In terms of story it manages to effectively use brief exploration segments between sets of matches to paint a picture of its seemingly tech dystopian world, the circumstances of the characters and the events taking place outside the matches.
Allied with that you have beautiful cell shaded graphics and an amazing soundtrack that ties everything together with flair and straight up AURA.
It also has a pretty great soundtrack.
You can use your keyboard but this must be played with a controller for sure as everything is designed around it.
I would recommend Rollerdrome to adults that own a Steam Deck and only get a few minutes at a time to play, but still want a game that's focused on pure skill.
