The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It’s a slow paced, very carefully thought-out story which pulls at your emotions from the first minute, especially if you are a parent.
You experience a parallel spirit world while in the real world, both of which are active at the same time during gameplay.

The novel split screen between human and spirit worlds is cleverly worked; it soon feels natural jumping in and out of each world.
The "puzzles" are way too easy and Marianne solves some of the puzzles for you before you can try it yourself.
