What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
In short: This is a lovely game with cute art, a solid core gameplay loop and a surprising amount of depth.
The fourth and final map was a bit of a let-down to me as it was just too easy - too much space, ample production bonuses, too many overpowered upgrades.
The quest dialogue is well written.
Actually worth your time, no traps like micro-transactions, and well polished.
As with most games of this genre, controls are simple point-and-click, although judging by visuals and the all-round polish of the underlying mechanics, it is certainly a great example of what the franchise can be.
The sound effects are good, but the music is a bit mediocre and repetitive.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
