The class system feels less special than just having specific characters with skill trees, the overworld is a novel concept that turns ultimately pointless, the story is meh, and whoever thought of random encounters needs to be smacked.
However the biggest point of this gameplay is the visuals, hands down the most beautiful game from borderlands series in my opinion.

I played on a 7800x3d/4070super setup and rarely saw frame drops.
Crossplay and co-op are solid.
Sketch style graphic, immersive choice of different types of weapons, "weapon enchants", classes, great soundtrack, (so far story is entertaining), hits feel responsive and there is a great sound differentiation inbetween each of weapons including melee, ranged etc.
