What players think
The recurring themes across 153 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The campaign map is the best part by far with the relic search events and the funny diplomacy, but the late game battles are unironically pretty engaging and look honestly pretty cool.
It's very easy to learn and has a solid gameplay loop of rebuilding, pushing troops around the continent and throwing yourself between offensive and defensive planning.
Graphics were okay for its price point.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and are not shown.
