What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I myself don't have a problem with stories that leave room for interpretation, but it was clear from the very start any kind of "narrative" this game provided wasn't going to be necessary for the gameplay.
The visual design is intentionally abrasive, a psychedelic fever dream of pulsating colors, warped geometry, and constantly shifting textures that give every level the feel of a living hallucination.
If you are like good at FPS games (I am a hundreds of hours Ultrakill and Doom Eternal player), you're not gonna get much playtime out of this game.
Good soundtrack too
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
