The UI/UX overhaul was fantastic and the new visuals were beautiful, but the Homecoming update also removed or gutted a ton of archetypes that had existed in the beta.

Also the sound effects they designed in combination with music are also done incredibly well and help a great deal immersing you in the fantasy of the current faction you are playing and making you feel like you are actually moving soldiers around on the battlefield or crushing your enemies with the attack of a giant monster. (which really isn't a small feat for a card game I would say).
