The story is just miserably boring, the voice acting is a bit obnoxious, it's pretty poorly optimized, the settings and control menus are super janky, the time between attempts is way too long for how fast the combat is, and there are games that do this gimmick better, in my opinion.
The game has a brushstroke art style that is nice in theory, but as you can see in the screenshots, unless the game is zoomed out it looks so washed out and unappealing.
A beautifully hand-drawn game that still manages to have a simple yet interesting enough gameplay to hook you in.
