It's such a simple yet effective and fun gameplay loop.
Remaster itself is pretty decent - game received a new coat of paint, including high-res textures, new UI and 21:9 support (though that last one makes it a bit easier, since you get to see more of the map than just the room you're in).
One thing I’ll mention before I get into the good and the bad – I had no idea that the neighbour’s name was Mr Rottweiler, I honestly don’t remember there even being a story on the games when I played as a kid, so I was quite surprised to see the mini cutscene at the beginning and the end to see a small backstory.
- wish the level select menu was scrollable with a mouse wheel and maybe even had a scroll bar. was somewhat confused at first as to how to scroll it - turns out you can scroll it controller-style, by moving the cursor closer to the top/bottom, or touch-control style, by moving the mouse up-down while left click is pressed.
Well, while it's doesn't matter much in which order you play them, some levels are harder than others and when following the proper ordering the levels typically increase in difficulty, so it would be nice if they were ordered in the level select menu.
The audio design complements this perfectly, with cheerful background music, laugh-track sound effects, and sharp, comedic timing that evokes the feel of a vintage TV sitcom.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
