What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Story, atmosphere and combat-wise it holds up very well and I hope the quirks will be patched soon.
Variety of weapons, spells and items gives it a ton of replayability - while I'm currently at the end of my first ng+ replay and ~40 hours, I can easily see myself spending 100+ on this game.
+ Beautiful 2D graphics
the artstyle is goated, the artist does fantastic job with the pixel artstyle alongside with the overall grim ost, allthough some occasion the ost would stop whilch led me to think "is there a boss" and half of it was simply a regular area.
I find it too simple and ugly for a game like this, and scrolling on the map screen is slower than I'd like.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
