What players think
The recurring themes across 100 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Now to the reason why I'm writing this review: this game is an almost masterpiece.
But what about replayability, you may ask?
You have a very limited number of "command points" per front/army group every term, and an extremely limited save game system - so while learning the interface and basic concepts is easy enough, learning what you actually want to choose to get the results you want requires a lot of trial and error in a "live" campaign game.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
Should you buy it now?
