Not because its a YAOI game (I'm not even into Yaoi Games) but it was because the interesting Lore of the Game and the characters.

The voice acting: Yes, the voice actors are great in this game, but, whether by bugs, lack of budget or both, the main character (you know, the one whose name is in the title) does not have his lines voiced through much of the game.
