What players think
The recurring themes across 195 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The combat is just what you'd expect from a character action game, it's got fun combos, interesting enemies, fun & dynamic bosses, a style ranking system, taunts, a supermode, all the good stuff.
What makes this different from the Styles in DMC is that since they are each their own character, each band member has unique weapons, style moves and greatly varying playstyles.
The combat is fluid, the design of the world is even better when you experience it in game, and the story doesn't waste any time kicking off.
Let's not forget to mention the lovable cast with attitude, boppin soundtrack, and charming presentation.
Despite only having its first act out as of writing this review, Genokids is an incredibly fun Character Action Game, with an Art Style that helps it stand out from others I've seen with fun & memorable designs.
Goodness the combat in this game is fun, I am bad at it but thankfully Normal is not too punishing of a difficulty.
