As you collect the databanks, you can actually unlock unique dialogue (as a pseudo-completionist I aimed to get all, and noticed in a lot of NPC dialogue Talia may comment on hearing about certain events or people through these databanks).
+ Gameplay is decent with nice options for items, though lots feel useless.
I do want to say I've never gotten into a megaman-type game. people are saying its a metroidvania but it's a megaman-type, and probably the most compelling one around. this is blended with the most in-depth conditional choice system you'll see in an indie game. its really cool. also worth noting is the sexual content is presented in a semi-tasteful way. it's very explicit, but the main characters are fairly well written and the voice acting is great.
The Art style is really nice in my opinion - it's unique, looks great, and definitely works in the levels presented.
Performance wise - its a 2D platformer, really I don't see why your machine couldn't run it in 2024 (I have heard of some issues for the steam deck, but that isn't something I can personally say I've experienced as I do not have one to confirm).
