As of writing this review in the Summer of 2026, yes, the game as a multiplayer experience is still playable on PC.
The core gameplay loop is a masterclass in role-based tactical freedom.

Performance is great and did not lag or stutter, with my specs I was able to play at 120 FPS and on ultra settings
The sound design remains excellent, with powerful weapon audio and a soundtrack that perfectly complements the military atmosphere.
Doesn't use Javelin AC (Which has actually been implemented into BF1, rendering bf1 as of right now unplayable on linux even though before the AC implementation it was perfectly fine) It works on linux pretty well if you are also on linux.
