This game reuses the exact same 1:1 track layouts and environments from FlatOut 2, though they feature upgraded graphics, increased dynamic object density, and improved lighting.

While I personally prefer FlatOut 2's OST overall, the soundtrack here is still very good and contributes to the experience in a positive way, with a solid selection of rock tracks that fit the fast-paced racing and chaotic atmosphere.

Furthermore, the debris physics don't feel nearly as punishing when it comes to throwing you off track or flipping your car, like the developers wanted to fully commit to the continuous high-speed chaos, and I really think it improves the gameplay.
