*Making something new out of Yakuza with interesting new characters.
Great humor, great characters, great story, good gameplay, great side quests, so many mini games that they basically put a small version of every game genre within this game, and good arcade games on top.
The character are all really well done with the voice acting and dialog flowing really well and Ichiban is just such a lovable character and a refreshing new protagonist.
The maps were also well done, they had great lighting and synergy for this type of game, and I loved it.
It also runs really well on Steam Deck, played a bunch of hours on it, gets a stable 60fps pretty much everywhere with minor fluctuations.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
