Narratively it's like Zelda, there's a story there and a narrative being told but its told in a very simplistic way and mostly through in game cutscenes and the occasional cinematic cutscene.
From the subtle expressions, the way he falls asleep while you're thinking, and his many reactions to gameplay, he's very relatable and lovable.
The aesthetics are pleasant to look at, the soundtrack is highly enjoyable to listen to while your brain idles between ideas.
The graphics are gorgeous, it's peak 8 bit style, the game is full of interesting colors and sleek animations and with a great art direction and character/world design.
Plays flawlessly on the SteamDeck.
