What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
If the game continues to get fixes and a steady flow of content - which it already does - I think it will be amazing - currently It's a fun, sometimes frustrating, very replayable space exploration roguelike with pretty graphics if you are into visuals... with plenty of hours to enjoy through it's 4 campaigns and Free-Play.
Once you figure that out, the game falls into a great gameplay loop.
Special effects and booming audio explosion...
There is so much to love about this game: it faithfully sticks to the FTL formula, it adds depth in places that FTL was light (crew skills, faster combat, store inventory changes, etc).
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
