What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The cutscenes are all done well, animations and graphics fantastic, then you keep progressing and start to feel like you did this mission already, go attack the fighters, escort the ship and protect it, you will be doing often throughout.
Star Wars Quadrons is in a lot of ways really great. even just on its own, the way the cockpit design is so dynamic and integral to the gameplay makes this an incredible entry in the space shooter genre. everything's so chunky and worn, the audio design is impeccable, you can really feel connected with the ships you get to fly. definitely absolutely play the "instruments only" mode, it's a subtle but effective change that makes your relationship with the cockpit mechanic more active and compelling. i would love to see this game's presentation adapted to a full-on open world single player or co-op space game with star systems and free traversal, especially if you also got to fly neutral starships rather than being stuck on the empire/rebel sides. star wars outlaws had some of this, but it was underbaked because they also had to make a whole other game. star wars freelancer, please

Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
