What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Have you ever wanted to go to jail with that one good friend from childhood and also break free together in a plot of trust, betrayal and redemption?
The hospital escape was my favorite part because of how the camera switched between our points of view instead of just staying in a split screen.
🔷 THE GAMEPLAY 🔷
The graphics were also quite good for their time, and the world felt realistic.
The story is tightly written, carried by excellent voice acting, and the personalities of the two main characters couldn’t be more different.
A Way Out takes a very interesting spin on split-screen multiplayer, making it an extremely fun experience for you and your friend.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
