Multiplayer and singleplayer were unified – you could be playing some Offroad events, jump into a friend’s lobby, and go do some drift racing and event grinding, all without sacrificing progression.

Despite some obvious flaws — a story that wraps up in 2-3 hours at most, a weak soundtrack, and lousy car handling (though compared to Payback, it does give a bit of a challenge) — the game manages to create an atmosphere that really got to me.
