Of course all the Pokemon in this are new and things like Pokeballs have been renamed and it has it’s own story, but at the end of the day, this is Pokemon.

Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
Progression is super rewarding with milestone goals and tangible rewards as you gain experience as a Battle Researcher, and it never felt grindy with plenty of EXP share items (I found six in my run).

Playing Coromon on my Steam Deck on the couch brings me right back to when I used to play Pokemon on various Nintendo handhelds, and that is probably the biggest compliment I can give it.

not for me, but feels like a nice game for the steamdeck or something. a bit of an eye sore when played on a large screen because this really is PIXEL graphics, and feels more designed for the pokemon pvp enjoyer than the casual creature collector fan.
