You get to be in the shoes of 20 great inspired characters
It serves as both a sequel and refinement of the original Shaolin vs Wutang, retaining the same passion for old-school kung fu films while delivering sharper visuals, more polished mechanics, and an expanded roster.
The gameplay is deliberately simple, built around accessibility rather than competitive complexity.
When combined with the sharp sound effects—every strike, grunt, and weapon clash sounding tactile and distinct—the game manages to capture the energy of vintage martial arts films better than any other fighter in recent memory.
All in all this is going to be a game where you'll see more than just 5 hrs on my account after this review, I will also continue to stream it for getting its name out into the public, I hope to see more features and characters imported into the game like Thunderlegs from drunken master 1 or the great return of Lateef Crowder and with a slim glimpse of hope maybe player hosted multiplayer via invite code only so can play with friends from around the world.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
