Phonopolis

The story moves forward with a constant, unbreaking momentum, with no detours, no real backtracking and a sense that you are being asked to not spend too much time admiring the lovely art that has been created for this game.

Without getting too repetitive or into the weeds, the visuals, effects, and even camera angles are phenomenal.

The voice acting was very good, and the gameplay is really fun.

I do recommend this if you both value human-crafted art and enjoy whimsical gameplay.

Puzzles were just the right difficulty in my opinion - leaning slightly on the easier side, but the achievements were fun to hunt!

In Machinarium, I feel part of the appeal was being able to go to multiple key areas at once, getting multiple inventory items at once, and figuring out the order of what goes where, and when.
