What players think
The recurring themes across 30 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
On top of the addictive gameplay, and a fun audio and visual presentation, this is a really great package, since it features a healthy amount of stages, and plenty of unlockables to keep you coming for more, including countless unlockable characters (some from other Jaleco titles), alternate modes, retro soundtrack options, and a rather healthy amount of materials from past entries in the series (including various box art and cartridge photos, concept art, design documents, and more).
It's fun and there's a constant sense of progression and achievement.
While the basic game is fairly simple, there are plenty of characters unlock and try out their abilities for a good amount of replay or player's choice of handling the stage.
