The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
With that said, Little hope tells a compelling story that blends elements of the past with the present to create a edge of your seat thrill ride up until the end.
Third person exploration, with loads of cutscenes, some QTE’s, finding collectibles and making lots of choices, choices which unlike most of the later TellTale games actually matter in the grand scheme of things..
That said, it’s more fun in co-op and works well for its short, roughly four-hour length.
Visually, Little Hope is striking, making excellent use of lighting, weather effects, and detailed environments to craft a somber and oppressive mood.
Maybe voice acting isn't perfect but it's really good for most of the part.
There is an option to choose between a controller (if you have one), point & click, and mouse & keyboard, which I thought was a nice addition.
