The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow, developed by Cloak and Dagger Games and published by Wadjet Eye Games, is a masterfully atmospheric point-and-click adventure that blends classic puzzle mechanics with the eerie sensibilities of English folk horror.

For me, the difficulty was balanced well here, and enjoyable, but again, it felt strange that all of these non-fetch-questy puzzles were purely contained to the final act.

I enjoyed the atmospheric village, the weird villagers, and the main character.
