ANNIE:Last Hope

Story narration is well executed, with some definitely good scenes in it.

The gameplay is quite enjoyable overall, with at least some unique enemies in each chapter, decent variety of weapons and diverse situations such as escape sequences, or "survival" segments.

Excellent visuals thanks to detailed voxel-art combined with advanced effects and lighting.

You get plenty of ammo, and plenty of bandages (Normal Difficulty) for an all around great shoot em up.

While the game focuses mostly on you mowing down waves of zombies in various combat scenarios, there is a decent amount of variety in form of exposition moments, exploration/scavenging sections as well as combat scenarios that involve special weapons, traps or environmental hazards such as sentient excavators that try to kill you.

ANNIE mixes up its action often with cool enemy variety, hulking bosses that take up a large swath of the screen, nice impactful sound effects and an overall chaotic world that is fun to mash through from start to finish.
