Excellent visuals thanks to detailed voxel-art combined with advanced effects and lighting.
I bought ANNIE for full price after seeing its trailer, hoping that it didn't show an overly-glossed series of gameplay sections that I didn't encounter in the actual game itself.
ANNIE mixes up its action often with cool enemy variety, hulking bosses that take up a large swath of the screen, nice impactful sound effects and an overall chaotic world that is fun to mash through from start to finish.
The gun play with a controller was very smooth, the dodging and all around movement is good for the pace of the game.
