What players think
The recurring themes across 89 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Unlike the Beautiful Desolation, this game has a very vanilla post-apocalyptic tone, it's not really trying to be unique in that sense, not too different from Fallout in the presentation, just more grounded and mostly about the people, but what it does well are the characters and highlighting their perspectives on the world around them.
(+) I didn't comment much on the visuals and illustrations, mostly because I think the game looked perfect for what you going for, very nostalgic isometric feel to it, nice shading and texture in each location.
I thought the game had a stellar soundtrack, or the lack of, mostly just noises in the backgrounds, sounds of crows, sounds of the wind, and other environmental ambiance, kind of brave choice on your part, but it worked very well for the game.
Wonderful adventure game that will appeal to the old fans with both the visuals and gameplay.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
