incredible game. this is just a really fun game, whether you like the heist campaign side or the "gmod but everything is destructible" side of it. the modding community is really good, and keeps the game fresh for a long time.
Teardown lets me destory millions of voxels, fun in multiplayer and single player.
only issue with this is that the optimization is odd. they pulled some sorcery on the gpu optimization because the game's engine will run path tracing at 60 fps with a gtx 1650, or some intel integrated graphics from 2018 and other weaker gpus. (i know this because ive watched many benchmarks for this game with lower-end gpus and the game runs really well) however, the cpu optimization is really bad, as the game is single threaded, meaning even if you spent 400$ on say, a ryzen 7 9800X3D, the game still drops to single digit fps numbers and even decimal fps numbers when you destroy too much. theres nothing the devs could have done to fix this, as multi threading with real time physics is impossible to work properly. thankfully, these fps numbers can only be achieved with mods. like a lot of mods. and doing really heavy destruction with them. you eventually get used to it though. this is a major complaint, but its still an incredible game.
fun game its super good also the optimization is great i get good fps on my gtx 960 somehow
If you want the perfect co-op deathmatch experience with your small group of friends, DON'T BUY THIS GAME.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
