I also appreciated the addition of a skill tree, fast-travel points, an item shop, the ability to replay main missions, and the introduction of missions that incorporate different mechanics.

The story of the game made into comic styled cut scenes are great, but I feel they could be greatly improved with a little voice acting or maybe some in game transition which breaks down the chapter so that the chapter wont feel to long and serve as a short break for the player.
