Vaporum: Lockdown

Many elements from combat, puzzles, and unearthing its many secrets come together in unison into a tight experience.

Exploration is king here and these games scratch the itch of steadily building power and resources to survive turn-based horrors.

Although this is a prequel I find that V delivers a better paced, more immersive experience with a cleaner narrative.

The difficulty got amped up for sure, but it’s more rewarding at the same time.

The sound effects compensate for its lack of soundtrack and sell the atmosphere well enough throughout the experience.

Brass machinery, exposed pipes, rotating gears, and industrial lighting dominate the environments, creating a cohesive aesthetic that feels both oppressive and intriguing.
