I've already dumped 60 hours in at time of writing and the game is just tons of fun.
Still in Early Access so there's some optimization needed - usually between rooms - but if you like this sort of thing it's worth a buy now and to follow its progression.
Ziggurat 2 is, at the time of this review, easily one of my favorite FPS Roguelites in a genre that is slowly growing in size: Cohesive, colorful, packed full of content, and just complex enough to elevate the gameplay above a mindless FPS.
Each of the environments are visually pleasing and make great use of color & dynamic lighting.
- The soundtrack is insanely good.
