What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
+ This game has Slay The Spire kind of adventure progression system which is lot of fun, addictive and still quite unique.
Graphics: 7/10 - I like the retro graphic style but there is nothing new or exciting here to look at.
If you're in love with this type of gameplay because you're an openly-admitted masochist that doesn't mind being punished by 100% artificial difficulty and grind while enjoying the complex-but-shallow gameplay, then you're better off just playing Darkest Dungeon with DLC instead.
Little did I know that I'd get hooked to that game like no other game I tested, and here I am hours later writing this review instead of finishing the other games I was playing...
Sound FX: 7/10 - The sound effects are fitting and not distracting or out of place, but nothing exceptional.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
