As for the gameplay, this is where I want to make sure anyone who buys this game knows what they're getting into.
The story is atmospheric in nature and greatly reminds me of the simple "show don't tell" style of storytelling.
The graphics are beautiful for the theme of the game, I say that not because it's a polished triple A game, but because the graphics convey the overarching themes of the game perfectly.
The beautiful sound design is going to make you uncomfortable.
Maybe if you already know what to do and where to go or run through it like a FPS and skip a bunch of stuff, but I feel if you play it like it expects to be played—as a stealthy immersive sim—and take your time exploring and finding secret paths and items, you will get a lot more play time out of it.
Everything feels dialed-in, controller functions impressively well on this game, never experienced glitches or cheap enemies, every time I was caught or killed felt fair, never had any problems mantling.
