What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The narrative here is good, but not as strong as latter entries.
All six games, spanning the two bundles, have previously been available as free-to-play flash titles, and they all contain royalty-free assets; such as music from Incompetech, free textures, and free fonts.
There are also some branching paths and subtle changes based on player decisions, which adds a layer of replayability for those who want to see every variation or uncover every secret.
The sound design is the best.
A clear product of the Flash era, it relies on simple inventory-based puzzles that are generally too easy (especially in the first and third entries) and would benefit from a toggle highlighting clickable hotspots, as interactions are often unclear and occasional pixel-hunting (notably in Deeper Sleep, when collecting the notes) becomes frustrating.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
