Personally, I found the Twin Fists of Malphon to be the most powerful, but the game is well-balanced - you can absolutely succeed with any weapon, depending on your playstyle.

I intentionally want to avoid talking about specific story details because uncovering the story bit by bit is another extremely rewarding experience from your subsequent playthroughs.

The combat is satisfying, the characters are genuinely compelling, and there’s always something new to discover - so much so that you probably won’t see everything, even after multiple runs.

The soundtrack is a fantastic blend of styles, ranging from rock and metal to folk, ballads, and other unique sounds.

In this, Hades continues to spare no expense, the visuals are vibrant and brilliant, the soundtrack evolves each encounter from a task to an experience, and the unending mountain of polish coating it all makes it worthy of a Triple A pricetag in all honesty.

Furthermore, the game offers a brilliant scalable difficulty system through the "Heat" mechanic, allowing you to tailor the challenge even more and spice things up.
