However, this results in the gameplay that is sometimes thought provoking, like a puzzle to figure out the best way to clear a room, but also incredibly aggressive when you eliminate the main objectives before they make you defenseless.
The in game graphics are all pretty clean, with slightly limited but decent animation, there's enough understanding of timing to make the low frame count feel natural for the most part.
Even if the sound effects don't make the most sense all the time, like how the walk sound is the same throughout the whole game, so the sound of walking on grass in boots is the same as walking on stone in boots.
The menu for the "roguelite mode" is particularly cute, featuring a couple lightly animated scenes of our two primary characters.
