What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
pesterquest is a nice little compact story that isn't necessarily the most inventive or groundbreaking visual novel, (not that i would expect that from a homestuck game), but it's fun and charming.
Players occasionally choose responses that alter scenes or trigger alternate outcomes, although the game remains primarily focused on narrative progression rather than deep gameplay systems.
Combined with the colorful visuals and expressive writing, the soundtrack helps maintain a strong emotional atmosphere throughout the experience.
The soundtrack is excellent as well.
