Better graphics, cool finishers for certain weapons, funny writing, dark and smart humor, crafting that stays relevant until at least hour 160, lots of equipment and weapons, tons of quests, many cool characters, your own HQ.

Better graphics, (seemingly) better camera control, quality of life features like a more readable skill tree and an option to indicate which sorts of items any particular merchant is interested in buying, etc.

They've done a good job in making this feel like a early Fallout release, I haven't long played an early Fallout game so it's still fresh in the mind to how the visuals were and how the game was set out and I can say this easily beats what they did many years ago (And so they should considering how long it's been), sure ATOM has it's faults but nothing too serious to give it a thumbs down.

Honestly, the original On-Computer interface they had was ugly and not intuitive, but the controller set up and look to the interface on the first game was superb.

The game ambitiously expands its scope, delivering a complex RPG experience with deep tactical combat, extensive character customization, and a sprawling narrative that challenges players to navigate a harsh, unforgiving world where every choice matters.

Companions are written better this time, and while there’s still no voice acting (same as the base game), the dialogue feels sharper.
