Ghostrunner

After 10 hours of gameplay, I didn't have any lag in my playtime; the game is very well optimized.

and finally the story is simple but captivating, small team of characters that aren't complicated

There's no way using a gun is more difficult or complicated than running on walls and air dodging to get in melee stabby range.

This isn't what I'd call an easy game, but the developers have done a great job of balancing the difficulty with generous checkpoints, and the gradual difficulty curve means you get a great sense of accomplishment from progressing towards the end of the game.

Using in world design elements like lighting and signage makes navigating the cyberpunk world of Ghostrunner feel like second nature.

The story is your regular revenge plot, pretty straight forward, but the gameplay is truly where all the fun is, being elevated by an absolutely amazing synthwave soundtrack that makes each movement and encounter with enemies much more intense and satisfying.
