Biomass

Before the update, we didn't have a dedicated healing item, so now you can regain some of your health without engaging in melee combat, making the game more accessible to new players.

Biomass is a deceivingly artistic game despite having souls-like mechanics, it's very much focused on the world-building and psychological story, plus a unique game format when it comes to replay value.

Story- 7/10 (Think dark souls but more elusive, and confusing. Characters in world are one-dimensional, but genuine and add to gameplay well, very convoluted final ending however)

Sound Design- 10/10 (Beautiful Atmospheric soundtrack and effective use of sound throughout)

The game has a simplistic but incredibly charming pixel art style, which allows for suprisingly richly detailed environments that help immerse you into the world of Biomass itself.

One boss in particular took me around 50 tries to finally get down- honestly one of the most difficult experiences i've had in gaming recently, which had to make me rely on the somewhat finnicky deflection mechanic, but was nonetheless satisfying and fair difficulty.
