What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
As a whole, though, the writing and voice acting remains top notch, the investigation aspect takes a step back, and everything else is ... well-intentioned but frustrating.
I'll start off by saying that the world is absolutely gorgeous: the graphics are great, the engine is well-optimized, and being set in a British-occupied fictional island that was formerly part of the Ottoman Empire, there are a wide variety of different locations to explore and people to talk to, each with their own unique cultural background and flavour.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
