You can unlock almost every weapon/skill in about 10 hours maybe this is good for some but i like games where you have to complete a run using said item/skill in order to unlock another and this can be randomized for replayability think Binding of Issac or even Hades to a lesser extent but it forced you to use every skill in order to unlock collectables and really see different builds...

An appropriate equivalence to Cinder in Ember Knights would be to Heat in Hades: Buff your enemies to earn bonus rewards and the true ending at a certain threshold.
▹ Well made cartoonish pixel-art style, one of the best ones I saw so far, that even if it wasn't extremely detailed was a solid and balanced.
